Interested in Joining a Committee?
Here's your chance to make a difference and work collaboratively with other passionate PTA'ers. Each area of interest requires teamwork, lots of patience, good communication skills, and an interest in serving all students and families. A great sense of humor is helpful too!
Applications are being accepted for the following committees:
- Advocacy & Legislation - learn all about PTA's advocacy work in Sacramento and what legislation requires our voice & action
- Communications - members will support our student, family, and community outreach efforts
- Family Engagement - volunteers will help coordinate with various language & community liaisons
- Health & Safety - with so many concerns expressed by parents, we'll need lots of help addressing practices, protocols, communication and solutions
- Reflections - supporting the arts lifts our spirits and our Reflections Chair needs
- Spirit of Community Year-End Volunteer Recognition Event - revamped for next year and will require a team of creative and detail-oriented planners
After review of all applications, appointments will be made to each committee by the end of September.
